31 year old, Cameroonian forward Ande Dona Ndoh has been rewarded with a new contract at 2nd tier French side Niort FC following another brilliant season.
Dona,now in his twilight has been scoring goals in the 2nd tier of French football since 2005 when he left Unisport of Bafang for Le Havre.
Dona who joined Niort in 2014 was in the last year of his contract with the club but his 14 goals this term has done enough to convince bosses of the French club to give their top scorer in the last 3 seasons another bite of the cherry.
The former Le Havre,Rouen,Luzenac AP has scored 47 goals in 139 French league 2 games.His brace against GFC Ajaccio 2 weeks ago took his season tally to 14 goals equalling his last season record of 14 goals representing his best tally.
Dona’s 14 goals plus 1 assist in 35 games have been pivotal to Niort’s battle to stay in the league to championship with 11 wins,8 draws and 16 defeats Niort is 13th in a 20 clubs championship.
Dona will hence spend next season with 21 year old compatriot and club colleague Didier Lamkel Ze who has netted 7 times and provided 3 assists in 25 ligue 2 games this season.
