The 2011 French Ligue 1 champions were the first to open scores through Cameroon international, Ambroise Oyongo at the 7th minute to put the home side one goal up.
The soccer troops of coach Michel Der Zakarian held their lead for the entire first half but six minutes into the second half, Nantes found their equalizer through Imran Louza.
