Villareal ( Spain) and AC Milan (Italy) are in advanced talks to sign the Cameroonian defensive midfielder, Andre-Frank Zambo Anguissa but Fulham FC is keen of keeping the midfielder in London
Andre-Frank Zambo Anguissa (24 years old) who had a successful loan spell last season in Spain with Villarreal where he played 36 games and scored two goals in all competitions has become a target for both Villarreal and AC Milan.
Fulham’s poor start of this season’s Premier League has forced the club’s managers to keep hope of retaining the versatile midfielder to boost their defence and midfield compartments, despite pressing interest from other clubs.
According to Tribal Football, Fulham’s manager Scott Parker explained why he is hoping to keep the Cameroonian Midfielder in London
“It’s very important for us to keep him because of his quality. I see a real good platform for Frank this year, being in the Premier League, to show what he’s about,”
“The problem is the uncertainty you have when the window is open and the season is ongoing. It’s always a concern that someone comes in for one of your players.
“That’s what we’re living with. Let’s see where we are after the window closes.”
It should be noted that Andre-Frank Zambo Anguissa has featured for all Fulham’s three Premier League defeats of the season; coming from the beach in the opener against Arsenal and playing full time against Leeds United and Aston Villa.
