Graham Mbong Scores And Provides An Assist As Cinyodev FC Triumph Over The Lava Boys.

Cinyodev FC Beat Mount Cameroon FC 2-1 in a day two of the South West Regional Championship.

After a 6-0 defeat to Prisons FC on match day one,  Cinyodev FC of Buea finally corrected the wrongs of the past as they beat Mount Cameroon FC of Buea 2-1 in their second league game at the GPS field in Buea. 

The first ten minutes of the game was meant for both teams to study each other but at the 16th minute of play,  the boys of Ntui Oben maximize their first real chance after captain,  Graham Mbong made good use of a diagonal pass from Motutu Junior to put Cinyodev FC 1-0 up.

One minute later, Cinyodev’s Njenja Diranho had a one-on-one chance with mount Cameroon’s keeper, Ashu Hilary but later was firm in goal to prevent the second goal for Cinyodev FC.

At the 28th minute,  Mount Cameroon had a chance of their own through Achi Kelvin but Cinyodev’s keeper Michael Mosoke was there to execute a brilliant save.

Graham Mbong received the first booking of the game at the 38th minute, but three minutes later, Sona Ekobe squandered a chance to put the lava boys level but shot went off target for 1-0 to Cinyodev FC at half-time.

The early minutes of the second half proved decisive for the lava boys  as they finally got their equalizer from Sona Ekobe at the 51st minute,  benefiting from an assist from Achi Kelvin.

At 1-1, the temple of the game became more interesting as both coaches had to dish out their final cards.

At the 65th minute,  Ferry Jordan and Motutu Junior were replaced by Ebot Bisong and Gilbert Tabitha for Cinyodev,  while Bobga Tanyi replaced Blazoe Nana for Mount Cameroon.

Ten minutes later,  Fonkeng came in to replace Njenja Diranho while player coach, Mutia Jonathan came in for Asombong Ronaldihno.

These substitutions by both teams went the way of Cinyodev as substitute, Fonkeng Forka benefited from Graham Mbong  assist to score the winner at additional time to give Cinyodev FC the win over local rivals.

Earlier in the day, Prisons FC lost to H. O Academy by 0-1 to go top of the group with 6 points in two matches.
