‘I Am Not Satisfied,’ Catherine Mbengono Hits Hard On Herself After scoring against Eding

Catherine Mbengono was arguably the only person on the pitch who felt she could do better.

Guinness Women’s Super League leading goal scorer Catherine Mbengono wasn’t satisfied with her performance after her team’s 0-4 victory against Eding Filles.

By far the best player of Amazone FAP, and perhaps the league this season, Mbengono was livid at herself, emphasizing to reporters that she could do more.

Another in contention for this season’s golden boot, Ngah Manga, scored a brace while Catherine and Brigette Omboudou made sure of the 0-4 victory Eding on Thursday.

Read the Lioness in her post match reaction: ‘personally, I wasn’t at my best today.

‘Being at the Lionesses camp and here at the same time is having a tool on me.’ As a reminder, the Indomitable Lionesses of which Catherine constitutes part, are in camp in view of their Olympic round of sudden death clash, against Chili this January.

‘I would have loved more rest, and score another, but I still give thanks to God for everything.’

Mbengono then talking of her personal objectives, added: ‘as a personal objective, I would like to win the championship and play the African club competition – as well as maybe grab the golden boot,’ FAP’s six goal architect ended.

Mbengono’s will and desire is unmatched, and Alain Djeumfa will be licking his lips with such attitude, gearing towards the Chili match.
