Jadon Sancho has been backed to enjoy a successful second season at Manchester United and be ‘key’ to Erik ten Hag’s rebuild.
The winger had a largely underwhelming debut campaign following his £73m move from Borussia Dortmund. The 22-year-old finished with just five goals and three assists.
He did show glimpses of his Bundesliga form after the turn of the new year. A wonderful goal against Manchester City at the Etihad in March and an eye-catching performance in February’s 4-2 win over Leeds spring out as highlights in his United showreel so far.
