The FIFA world cup has kicked off in Qatar with the host country Qatar losing their first game against Ecuador by 0-2. Despite the disappointment on the results obtained by Qatar, it is fair to say that the host nation has met and why not surpassed the standards set by many contraries to what has been reported by some media outlets to downgrade the hosting of the world cup being given to the state of Qatar.
There has been a lot of excitement from fans coming from all over the world with what they saw being put in place by the host country in terms of logistics, transport, state-of-the-art stadiums and social interaction among people. It should be noted that this is the only world cup that a fan can watch three games on the same day because the distance between all the stadiums is less than 30 minutes by metro, which handles the movement of thousands of fans in and out to their various destinations.
The host nation Qatar are still expecting to put up a good fight in their last two games to qualify to the next round of the competition but even if they don’t make it, it should be noted that the state of Qatar has accomplished their mission to put in one of the best organizations of the world cup ever and are then ready to welcome the world.
