Jan Vertonghen Says Family Are OK After Armed Robbery on Home

Tottenham defender Jan Vertonghen says he and his family are OK after his home was robbed on Tuesday evening.

The Belgian was in Germany on ​Champions League duty on Tuesday when his wife Sophie de Vries and their two children were subjected to a terrifying ordeal. Four men wielding machetes are reported by police to have broken into the London home and stolen a number of items. 

It was evidently a major shock for De Vries and her two young children, but the vigilant Vertonghen says everything is fine now the situation has blown over.
