Player ratings as Eagles hold Champions League hopefuls

Neither side could find a winner at Selhurst Park on Saturday night as Crystal Palace kept out top four chasers Newcastle to earn a point.

The visitors created the better chances throughout the contest but couldn’t find a breakthrough against a resolute Palace defence despite the best efforts of Joelinton, Callum Wilson and Alexander Isak.

Newcastle are up to third in the Premier League, ahead of Manchester United on goal difference having played a game more, while Palace are 12th with their winless streak in the league now at four games.
