Premier League request PGMOL review following Arsenal & Brighton VAR errors

The Premier League have revealed their disappointment at referee board PGMOL following a series of high-profile errors last weekend.

Arsenal were held to a 1-1 draw at home to Brentford after VAR Lee Mason allowed Ivan Toney’s late equaliser to stand despite Christian Norgaard being offside before grabbing the assist.

At Selhurst Park, Brighton were denied an initial opening goal when Pervis Estupinan was deemed offside by VAR John Brooks, who drew lines to the wrong Crystal Palace player and the strike should have stood.
