Manchester United full-back Ona Batlle has been named the PFA Vertu Motors WSL Fans’ Player of the Month for February after receiving nearly half the total vote (42%).
Batlle finished top of the final poll, seeing off stiff competition from Manchester City trio Chloe Kelly, Khadija Shaw and Lauren Hemp, on-loan Aston Villa winger Kirsty Hanson and Leicester’s new star goalkeeper Janina Leitzig.
The Spaniard was massively influential as United climbed to the top of the WSL table during February, taking four points from two games against Everton and Tottenham.
