Major League Soccer’s Disciplinary Committee confirmed the alarming number of red cards (nine) that were brandished over Matchday 12’s rivalry week.
The referees for Matchday 12 must’ve loved the color red as nine players were sent off out of the 14 games played. The sending off of players was a mixture of both straight red cards and second yellows.
