The international betting company yesterday at the Yaounde Hilton Hotel signed a 3 years sponsorship deal with the Cameroon Football federation.

The 2023-2026 sponsorship deal will cover the Senior Indomitable lions, beach soccer and futsal in the male and female categories. It equally includes the Elite One and Two championships.
1XBet’s ambition to accompany FECAFOOT in its ambitions of restoring the image of Cameroonian football; Increase the level of professionalism; Help local players to make a living from football; Facilitate the development of play grounds.
1XBET was represented by it’s General Manager Steven Mbienou Kouadjo while FECAFOOT’s 1st vice president Celine Eko signed for her institution.
Speaking to the pressmen gathered at the Hilton hotel, Mr Steven Mbienou Kouadjo indicated the objectives of the betting company.
“Our objective is to support the Cameroonian football federation in its vast football modernization and revitalization project in order to restore it to its greatness for the next 03 years this by guaranteeing compliance with sports ethics and values as rule.”
In the framework of this sponsorship deal, 1XBet will offer support with exclusivity of its brand against the competitor
for the championship.
Celine Eko on her part indicated that the door is opened for other sponsors to accompany the federation in revitalising football in Cameroon.
The bookmaker is in a project to accompany African FA. In 2021 Senegal signed a similar deal, Côte d’ivoire of recent and today Cameroon stands as the newest beneficiary.
