Player ratings as Lionesses begin Women’s World Cup with hard-fought win

England kicked off their 2023 Women’s World Cup campaign with a tense 1-0 win against Haiti.

Sarina Wiegman’s Lionesses are one of the tournament favourites having travelled to the southern hemisphere as European champions, but they were made to work for their first three points of the group stage.
