The FA have confirmed that Alexis Mac Allister’s straight red card during Liverpool’s 3-1 win over Bournemouth on Saturday has been rescinded.
Mac Allister was given his marching orders in his home debut for the Reds – having joined from Brighton and Hove Albion during the summer transfer window – for a tackle that was deemed to be reckless and out of control on Scotland international Ryan Christie.
