FIFA has announced nominees in various categories for the 2023 edition of the Best FIFA Football Awards – including best male and female players.
The last 12 months have seen both the men’s and women’s World Cups take place, with voting for the awards taking into account the period from 1 August 2022 up to and including 20 August 2023.
The other shortlists announced at this stage are for Best FIFA men’s and women’s coaches, as well as Best FIFA men’s and women’s goalkeepers.
