Premier League clubs to vote on rule change that could stop Newcastle loaning PIF players

Premier League clubs are set to vote on a proposal to ban loan moves between teams associated with each other ahead of the January transfer window.

Sources have confirmed to 90min that proposals have been drafted and will be presented to clubs at their next meeting on 21 November. They will vote on a temporary ‘fast track’ measure that would see loans between clubs that are owned by the same entities banned.

The Premier League insist that the plans are not purposefully being aimed at Newcastle United, who have been looking into the prospect of loaning players from the Saudi Pro League. The…
