Rotherham have sacked manager Matt Taylor following Saturday’s 5-0 mauling at Watford.
Taylor was in charge of the Millers for 13 months after taking over from Paul Warne and achieved what Warne could not in keeping them in the Championship last term. However, despite record spending in the summer, against a backdrop of key injuries it has been a poor start to the season, culminating in the heaviest defeat of Taylor’s reign at the weekend.
