Cameroon International midfielder, Andre Zambo Anguisssa reacts to the absence of fans ahead of the Mozambique clash tomorrow Thursday November 12, 2020.
The indomitable lions of Cameroon will exchange soccer bullets against the Mambas of Mozambique in an AFCON qualifying match at the Reunification Stadium in Douala.
With the game being played behind close doors, Zambo Anguissa reacts to the absence of fans ahead of the Mozambique clash.
“Playing in an empty stadium? It changes everything, especially as we know all the vibrant support that the Cameroon public can bring. We love these games with our fans in the stands and everyone that supports us, this pushes us and is a great motivation. However, we know they are still with us, even just in front of their television sets. That also motivates us. We know at what point the Cameroon people love their national team. They can count on us because we are determined to get all the three points”, Zambo Anguisssa on Fecafoot TV.
The Fulham man made his international debut for Cameroon on March 24, 2017 against Tunisia in an international friendly. He has so far played 25 times for the Indomitable Lions and have scored 2 goals so far.
At club level, his consistency with Fulham has been great as his call up is unquestionable. He has played in eight league games for the Cottagers this term and has one assist to his name.
