Just In: Fan attendance authorized in EPL

Mysoccer24.com has learned via French premium paper L’equipe, that fans will finally be allowed to watch games in England, ranging from the top-flight to the fith-tier of English football.

The ‘starved’ football and sports fans will make their return on December 2, as the PM has relaxed Covid-19 rules.

This comes barely seven months of total anguish, for fans of the so called ‘best league’ in the world.

The Premier League was suspended in March earlier this year, due to the widespread of the coronavirus outbreak, following an emergency meeting by the board.

It became the latest high-profile football competition to take preventative action, with the Champions League and Europa League, as well as La Liga, Ligue 1 and Serie A, announcing suspensions in the mid – March.

The announcement certainly has a lot to do with drugmaker Pfizer, whose coronavirus vaccine has shown it is more than 90% effective, according to the CNN — a much better than expected efficacy if the trend continues.

The interim analysis looked at the first 94 confirmed cases of Covid-19 among the more than 43,000 volunteers who got either two doses of the vaccine or a placebo. It found that fewer than 10% of infections were in participants who had been given the vaccine. More than 90% of the cases were in people who had been given a placebo.
