Juventus vs Torino: Nkoulou Strikes But “Old Ladies” Smile At The End.

Cameroon International,  Nicolas Nkoulou scored his first goal of the season in Torino’s 2-1 defeat to local rivals Juventus in a match day 10 clash of the Italia SerieA.

Torino have been inconsistent this season as they started the game on a positive note when Nicolas Nkoulou opened scores at the 9th minute to give the visitors the lead.

The visitors held their lead till the end of the first half as it ended 1-0 to Torino at half-time.

Upon resumption of the second half,  the Italian champions proved a better side as they showed hunger and character which finally yield fruits at the 78 th minute as Weston Mckennie equalized for the “old ladies” to level scores at 1-1.

Nine minutes later, the home side took the lead for the first time in the game through defense man Leonardo Bonucci at the 89th minute to put the champions 2-1 up.

The host held their lead till full time as ended 2-1 to Juventus.

The defeat for Torino puts them at the 18th spot(one of the relegation places) with just 6 points in 10 matches.

Nicolas Nkoulou has now featured in seven league games for Torino and have scored one goal in the process.

Next assignment for Nkoulou and his teammates is a home fixture against Udinese on December 13, 2020.
