As it has always been, the Cameroon Athletics Federation organizes test race before the real race itself. This year saw the test race being organized other regions like the littoral, Centre and the north west regions respectively.
This year’s test race in Buea saw over 140 athletes taking part in the test race, that started from the Molyko omnisports Stadium to the new hurt ( intermediate hurt) and back to the molyko stadium.
The race started at about 7:40 am as Hamadou Ibrahim succeeded Lambi Elijah as this year’s winner of the test race. He beats Saidu Nuhu Yerima and Mentan Cobnelius to win the race.
In the female category, last year’s winner of the Mount Cameroon Race Of Hope, Tata Carine maintains her dominance in the race as she came first, beating the lights of Che Christabel and Kangabe Confidence.
