Nchout Ajara Makes League Debut In Atleti’s 3-0 Win Over Sevilla

Though she didn't get a dream - league debut goal, Ajara was present in every sense of the word, in her team's victory this afternoon!

Cameroon international Nchout Ajara climbed off the bench at the 46 minute and participated in her first league game of the season as Atletico Feminino defeated Sevilla three – nil.

Atleti’s Colombian midfield metronome Leicy Maria Santos scored at the 17th minute, before second segment goals from Castellanos (46) and Da Silva on 70, dispatched Sevilla.

Ajara Nchout replaced Nigerian forward Ajibade at the 46 minute of the game.

Ajara, 28, has already impressed for her side with cameos of brilliance, including her brace in the Spanish Super Cup final against Levante U.D Feminino, that led to her team’s three – nil triumph.

Holders Barcelona Feminino lead the Premiera Division classification table with 36 points and 3 games in hand, while Ajara’s Atletico Madrid are 3rd with 31 points after 15 match days in the 18 – team championship.

Coach Jose Luis Sanchez Vera will be looking up to Ajara to inspire Atleti to their fourth Championship win as she did with her former side Valerenga.

Next up for Ajara and co a trip to Levante on Thursday January 28.
