Ndjeng and Mevoungou on target as Intermediate lions beat Colombe

Martin Ndtoungou Mpile's Intermediate lions defeated Colombe 2#0.

Cameroon’s intermediate lions have defeated Cameroon league one side Colombe of the Dja and Lobo 2#0, in a day three fixture of ongoing preseason tournament in Mbankomo, dubbed Festi Solidarité. The game was played on Tuesday morning, at the CAF Excellence center in Mbankomo.

Oumarou Sanda handled the ball from Serge Andoulou’s cross. Yannick Ndjeng stepped up and slotted the ball pass Goalkeeper Armand Kipou, to give the intermediate lions the lead at the 38 minute of the game.

The intermediate lions doubled their lead at the 41st minute, when Patrick Mevoungou headed home Andoulou’s free kick.

Frank Edima came close to making it three, but his shot rattled the cross bar.

Thierry Tchuente, Frank Priso and Frank Kemadjou came in before the start of the second half, with Yannick Ndjeng and Patrick Mevoungou making their way out.

16_year_old Frank Edima later ceded his place to Man Ykre, while Gerard Moubarak and Keuni Steve Roberto came in for Serge Andoulou and Mani late on.

The intermediate lions have now recorded three consecutive wins, without conceding a goal.

Goalkeeper Haschou Kerrido kept a clean sheet on his debut, while former Esperance of Tunis Forward, Yannick Ndjeng has now scored three goals for Ndtoungou Mpile’s side.
