Antonio Conceicao's 28 lions ahead of Nigeria clash.

Indomitable Lions coach, Antonio Conceicao has trim his 36 provisional squad to 28 lions, ahead of the upcoming heavyweight international friendly against the super eagles of Nigeria on June 4, 2021.

The list sees 8 of the players dropped. Players like Harold Moukoudi, Clinton Njie and Vincent Aboubakar were all dropped from the squad.

The lights of Ako Assomo and Fauvre Azur defender, Meyapa Fongain are the only two home base players, while high flying Coton Sport of Garoua has no representative.

The lions are expected to be in camp from May 30 to June 9, 2021.

The squad was initially meant for the 2022 FIFA World Cup Qualifiers in June, but unfortunately, the FIFA World Cup Qualifiers was postponed to the September international break by the Confederation of African Football (CAF).

However, despite the FIFA World Cup Qualifiers postponement, most African nations have engaged in friendly matches including Cameroon.
