27-year-old Cameroon international winger Clinton Njie has matched words with action with his end of year festival in hometown, Buea.
The Dynamo Moscow wingman saved the best for last and together with his team kick-started the maiden edition of his tournament in some style.
On arrival to the presser on Wednesday December 23, Buea’s gemstone told reporters of plans for his boyhood town; palatable plans that could sweeten even the bile of a hen.
‘Giving is a passion,’ the man with 10 goals in 33 appearances started.
‘I’ve always been coming back home to share. It’s only about showing some love to the Southwest people who have been there from day one,’ Njie Clinton acknowledged.
The speedster has engaged himself in humanitarian gestures, but like opined during the presser, he doesn’t like a third party involved. Clinton Njie is one of those who believes in helping out when it matters, and not for public notice. Testament to this fact are the humanitarian gestures at the capital of the East region – Bertoua, and equally the distribution of Covid19 kits in Buea.
Njie’s tournament runs through to the 27 of December. One thing is for certain; the Njie Clinton end of year festival has come to stay.
