62_year_old Cameroonian tactician Martin Ndtongou Mpile, has been appointed lead trainer of the intermediate lions of Cameroon, replacing Yves Clement Arroga Atsentso, who has been relieved of his duties.

Arroga has been shown the door and put “at the disposal of the Cameroon football federation”, as mentioned in an official communique from Cameroon’s sports minister, Narcisse Mouelle Kombi.

The same communique states that following a joint MINSEP_FECAFOOT meeting of Wednesday October 21, to evaluate the preparations of the Intermediate lions ahead of the African Nations championship, that will kick-off in Cameroon on January 16, 2020, they decided to appoint Martin Ndtongou Mpile as head coach.

“It was decided to give the responsibility of the intermediate lions to Ndtongou Mpile Martin, as head coach. Mr David Pagou was designated as his deputy, and the rest of the technical staff remains unchanged”, states the communique from MINSEP.

PWD vs Kaizer Chiefs: Stadium Director Assaults PWD Officials

Published

on

Preparing to represent the country in the CAF Champions League preliminaries come November 29, PWD officials were assaulted by the stadium director of the Limbe Omnisports Stadium this Friday.

Yes, you read it right, they all were given a shock of their lives.

As a remainder, PWD pits Kaizer Chiefs on Sunday, November 29.

Our colleague of mysoccer24.com, Giovanni Wanneh, was the first to raise an alert with a message reading;

‘The stadium director of the Limbe Omnisports stadium is at this point harassing PWD of Bamenda.

The lady who goes by the name madam Pascaline openly abused the president and club officials, threatening to send them away during their training session.

This lady clearly doesn’t know football. She says using the turf will make it bad before Match day.

Please madam, what does home advantage mean to you?.

PWD are Cameroon representatives but this is an absolute shame. Somebody caution this lady,’ Giovanni ended.

From further inquiries, Madam Pascaline had gone beyond day-to-day ‘petit spats’.

She addressed the team’s public relations officer – Mr. Chesi, as ‘a stupid Bamenda,’ an insult that appears delicate these days.

It should be noted that Cameroon’s FA had given PWD a formal ‘okay,’ before their workouts.

After the episode, Pascaline rushed back for peace, but the deed had been done.

In her defense in a popular platform, madam Pascaline said she wanted to protect the nature of the pitch. A pitch that has hardly seen football for over a year now.

Bamboutos FC holding Mark O’Ojong back

Published

on

Reported to be in Tunisia in anticipation for a two-year deal with US Tataouine, Mark O’Ojong is being held back by parent club Bamboutos FC.

The 23 year old is yet to receive a formal ‘okay’ from Bamboutos FC, who at this point, are bargaining for a higher pay package.

The 23-year-old is seriously engaged with Tataouine as he has played in some preseason friendlies already.

The player however, has written to the club together with his entourage and expects a reply by Wednesday.

Bamboutos’ president, Dr. Roger Ngoula, has to put his signature on already compiled documents, but seems too busy.

O’Ojong Mark scored three goals and a couple of assists in as many matches for Bamboutos last season. His on – field heroics gave him the right to captain the Intermediate Lions till early October.

Mysoccer24.com however keeps tracking the developments to keep her readers up to speed with the situation.
