Olympics Intercontinental Play-Offs: Feudjio Raissa Returns To Lionesses Den As Players Prepare For Olympic Qualifier

Tenerife midfielder Feudjio Raissa has been called up among 34 players summoned to prepare for the Olympic intercontinental playoffs against Chile in February.

Cameroon’s female National Coach, Alain Djeumfa called up 34 players, comprising of 22 home-based stars and 12 foreigners. Feudjio Raissa is coming back to the fold since October 2019 due to a knee injury.

Cameroon will face Chile in home and away leg after failing to get an automatic ticket to Tokyo 2021 at the expense of Zambia.

In the 34-player list, four goalkeepers, 11 defenders, eight midfielders and 11 strikers are scheduled to feature in the final camp leading to the crucial clash against Chile.

Besides CSKA Moscow’s Aboudi Ouguene and Atletico Madrid’s Ajara Nchout, Amazone’s Fap striker, Ngah Manga and Catherine Mbengono are among those who have been called.

The first leg game will take place in February 18 in Yaounde and the return leg is built for Chile in a forth night. The Indomitable Lionesses have to beat Chile to qualify for the 2022 Olympic games.
