Prisons Buea Ends Season 3rd In Pool A With A Win Over Lava Boys.

South West Regional championship.

Prisons FC of Buea have beaten old rivals Mount Cameroon FC of Buea 2-0 to finish third in Pool A with Seven points in 6 matches.

The home boys, returned to winning ways after suffering back to back defeats, to Cinyodev FA and H. O Academy in the last 6 days.

Playing the second round without head coach, Enang Severin, Team manager and club legend, Stephen Wose, has been incharge of the club as an interim coach.

The home boys took just eight minutes to open score as Star man, Mborog Collins scored his fourth of the season.

With the brilliance of Efome Lazare and Ekema Njoku at the Midfield of Prisons, they got their second goal at the 24th minute through striker, Sameh Mbolem.

Prisons FC proved so strong at the defense, as Felix Mbonde, Wepnje Godwill provided series of medications to any lava that came from the mountain.

Going into the second half, the boys of coach Mutia Jonathan had series of chances of their own to get themselves back into the game, but the defense line of Prisons FC was at the alert of any danger.

Prisons FC however, maintain their lead till full time as it ended 2-0 to the home boys.

The win for Prisons FC puts them third in Pool A with 7points, while Mount Cameroon FC tail the pool with 1 point.

The second game between Cinyodev FA and H. O Academy did not take place, as it is reported that the H. O Academy team was involved in an accident on their way to Buea. Should this be authentic, then the game will be programmed for a date yet to be announced.

H. O tops pool A with 13 points, while Cinyodev FA comes second with 10 points.
