Ahead of Sunday’s showdown, PWD’s captain Louiz Mbah says he is counting on their team spirit, to spring a surprise on Sunday.

Team spirit has always been our motto, and we are ensuring that all players are pointing at one direction. It’s only on Sunday that we will know how far we’ve come”.

On like Kaizer Chiefs who have played five games already in the South African league, PWD has been counting only on friendlies, as the Cameroon league one Championship is yet to kick-off. Louiz and his teammates are however confident that the can brave the odds.

“it is really poor, but we have been having a good preparation, with tours in some African countries and that has helped us a lot to understand the game”.

Concerning their opponents, Louiz said;

“we know very little about Kaizer Chiefs. We know the South African league is a top league, and Kaizer Chiefs have proven that they are a top team, but we come prepared to impose our game style on them and play good football for our fans”.

Neither CAF nor the Cameroon authorities have made a statement as regards the availability of fans for Sunday’s game. But Louiz has a message for the fans of the Abakwa Boys.

“You know when you have fans in the field, it is a different ball game.Football is in the heart, and those supporting will be with us in spirit and we the players are thinking about them and promising to do our best”.
