Rajevac Sacked After A Difficult Second Spell With The Black Stars.

Black Stars head coach, Milovan Rajevac has been sacked following Ghana' s premature AFCON exit.

Following a poor AFCON  performance by the black stars of Ghana,  Milovan Rajevac becomes the first managerial casualty in the tournament.

Ghana finished bottom of their group with just one point from three matches (2defeat, 1 draw). This is Ghana’s first premature exit in the AFCON since 2006.

The Serbian who led Ghana to the AFCON final into 2010, saw his second spell put to a halt just after four months incharge.  He played a total of eight games during that time and recorded only three wins,  lost three and drew two after replacing Charles Akonno.

The black stars will know their opponents today in the final round draw of the FIFA World Cup Qualifiers (Qatar 2022), when the draw will be conducted later today in Douala Cameroon.

Meanwhile,  the GFA is in search of a new coach to lead the black stars during the final round of the World cup qualifiers.

Who is next to lead the black stars?

After terminating the contract of Milovan Rajevac,  the Ghana FA will appoint an interim coach to begin preparations for the crucial qualifiers in March.

According to ghanasoccernet,  the Ghana FA will consider appointing a top-notch coach with knowledge about the team, has recent association with the team and most importantly commands respect of the players.

So the name of the coach tipped to replace the Serb is Ibrahim Tanko and Otto Addo who is assistant Dortmond coach are leading favorites to take over the black stars job.
