Former Brazil international footballer Rivaldo says Neither Mbappé Nor Haaland will replace Messi and Ronaldo but tip Neymar to be the next start in football history
Many will disagree with him, but Rivaldo is very clear! The former glory of Brazilian football, believes that Neymar will eventually overtake Cristiano Ronaldo and Messi.
For Rivaldo, it’s only a matter of time before striker Auvierde surpasses those who have dominated FIFA and France Football accolades for several years.
“Now we have Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo, but he [Neymar] is doing his job and soon he will be the best player in the world. I already said it when he came to Barça and with his work I am convinced that he will achieve it,” he said on Barça TV a few years ago.
Currently, Neymar plays alongside Messi at PSG and is far from becoming the best player in the world.
The Brazilian number 10 has had a string of injuries and since his arrival in France, he has struggled to regain his best level. At 30, Neymar may never lift the coveted ball.
