RS Berkane To Appoint Florent Ibengue As New Coach.

Florent Ibengue to replace Juan Pedro Benali as coach of RS Berkane.

Reports loading say 2020 Caf confed cup champions, RS Berkane are on the verge of appointing Cameroon born, Florent Ibengue as their new head coach.

Florent Ibengue who parted ways with former club, AS Vita club on Wednesday June 30, reports load that, the former Dr Congo home base team coach is to be given another challenge in north Africa.

The 59 year old is an experience brain in coaching and one of the finest in the continent. He joined the  Dr Congo side, As Vita club in 2012 from Chinese side, Shanghai Shenshua FC , taking over from Denis Goavec.

He spent close to nine years with the Dr Congo side, where he also managed the Dr Congo home base side from 2014 to 2019.

During his nine year stay at As Vita club; he won the local championship in 2015 and 2018. He also played the champions league final against ES Setif  which he lost in 2014, and the caf confed cup final against Raja Casablanca in 2018. He also guided Dr Congo to CHAN glory in 2016.

Though the reason for him leaving AS Vita club is not yet known, the move to Morocco is a more bigger challenge to the experience gaffa.

RS Berkane, 2020 caf confed cup champions experienced a sharp decline in their graph this season under coach Juan Pedro Benali. They failed to make the knock out round of the confed cup this season, lost the caf super cup to Al Ahly of Egypt and finished 5 th   in Botola Pro league with 33 points after 25 matches.

With his huge experience in Dr Congo and in the continent, he could be the savior of RS Berkane.
