Rwanda may host CECAFA club challenge next year as CECAFA also considers Djibouti for a host.

With Cecafa Challenge coming to a close tomorrow as Azam FC play KCCA in the final game in Nyamirambo, Kigali Stadium, the federations secretary general Nicholas Musonye has just inted that Rwanda may again host next years edition after a succesful one this year as they also consider Djibouti as the potential host of the next edition.
Musonye said this while addressing journalists in a final press conference ahead of the finals tomorrow at Rwanda Football Federations headquaters in Remera, Kigali “the next edition of next years tourney maybe hosted here in Rwanda but also we also in talks with Djibouti although some things will have to be considered such as logistics and ease of access to venues, we don’t want a scenario where fans and stakeholders and faced with challenges while trying to get to games” said Musonye while also adding that the next edition will be more bigger and better with some surprise teams already wanting to participate in the tourney.
“Next edition we shall have 16 teams as this editions but i promise you that it shall be better and bigger, you go and tell your people that”.
The winner of tomorrows game between KCCA and Azam is set to pocket 30,000 USD, with the match set to kick off at 5pm CAT and at 6pm EAT.
