Manfred Scores As EEMSA Clinch A Point Against Continental FA.

Bache Manfred scored a late  equalizer against Continental FA, that clinched their first point in the ongoing south west Regional mini inter pools at the Limbe Centenary Stadium. 

This was a day two encounter, which EEMSA needed to win, so as keep their hopes of playing the final of the mini inter pool.

Chi Collins made an attempt to put EEMSA in front at the 7th minute,  benefiting from a pass from Bache Manfred,  but shot went off target.

Six minutes later,  it was Robert Koneyi at the other end which saw his shot went wide after an individual effort.

EEMSA further had some chances which they could have converted, especially that of Chi Collins and Manfred,  but their chances were squandered.

Going into the second half,  the intensity of the game changed, as the midfield duo of Ako Tabe and Takor began dominating the midfield with decisive interceptions and good passes, which saw the defense of EEMSA under trait.

This turn to be real, when Ako Tabe set up Jeftar Arrey at the 60th minute who made  no mistake to put the ball into the back of the net.

Being one goal down,  EEMSA became aggressive at one point,  as chances from Ketu Fembele, and Boris Woreku were all wasted.

EEMSA however,  benefited from a defensive blunder,  as Bache Manfred scored the equalizer at the 90th minute to give EEMSA their first point of the competition.

This is Manfred’s 19 th goal of the campaign,  putting him as the top scorer of the league.

All hopes for EEMSA have come to an end as they will have to begin the journey again next season, while Continental FA extend their unbeaten run to 13 games in the league and will need nothing short of a win Against Best Stars Academy of Limbe to book their place in the final.
