S W Mini Inter Pools: Passive Volcano, As Mountain Boys Bow To Best Stars.

Buea United records second successive defeats in the mini inter pool.

Buea have recorded their second successive defeat in the hands of Best Stars Academy of Limbe,  in a day two clash of the ongoing south west Regional mini inter pools.

The Buea base side began with some seriousness,  as they lost some chances to take the lead,  especially that of Nkeng Tataw in the embryonic stages of the game.

But few minutes later the front four of Best Stars Academy (Corines Che, Esoh Esoka, Lyonga Jonas and Ferdinand Yefka )started sending out their venom, putting the more vulnerable defense of Buea United in more trouble.

This paid off as Corines Che led a counter to fine his tag team partner, Ferdinand Yefka who got the game’s opening goal at the 22nd minute.

Seven minutes later,  Ferdinand Yefka got his second of the day from the same source to put Best Stars Academy two goals up.

The mountain boys fetched for a quick response,  which saw Ngalame Clovis’ free kick blocked by the wall.

The boys of coach Agbor Emmanuel still  continued to  mount pressure to go within one before half time,  but their chances were not capitalized.

The second Half talks seems to have given some confidence to the mountain boys,  when Ngalame Clovis had some chances to score for Buea United,  but the mountain still looked a passive volcano.

Not serious going forward,  things moved from bad to worse as they conceded the third goal, this time  from Corines Che scoring for Best Stars.

The bringing in of Mofa Bosten for Buea United did not create any decisive impact; as it ended 3-0 to Best Stars Academy of Limbe.

This is Buea United’s second defeat in the competition and will have to play EEMSA in the last day just for pride and honor and regroup for next season.
