At the end of the first round of the South West Regional championship, discover the three coaches who are under pressure of loosing their job.
J. S Manfred Kouoh ( Njalla Quan Sports Academy -NQSA)
Bringing coach Manfred Kouoh at the helm of the technical bench of the Limbe base side, many hoped that NQSA will go one step further after the club missed out of the national inter pools last term.
NQSA has been winless in four league games played so far: 2 draws, 2 defeats, 2 goals scored and 5 goals conceded. With such report card, the seat is getting hot for coach Manfred Kouoh as his team currently occupies the last spot in Pool D with just 2 points in four games.
Mutia Jonathan (Mount Cameroon FC of Buea)
Next on the menu is Mutia Jonathan who is yet to get the lava flowing as coach of Mount Cameroon FC Buea.
After missing out of the mini interpools last season, it was clear that mountain is going to send out lava this term but after the first round matches, Mount Cameroon FC can only boost of zero wins, drawn 1, loss 3, scored 2goals and conceded 5.
This report card puts the Mutia Jonathan under pressure as the lava boys occupy the last spot in pool B with 1 point in 4 matches.
Coach Enang Severin ( Prisons FC of Buea FC)
After replacing Stephen Wose as coach of the “home boys”, coach Enang is yet to get the winning formula this term.
With four matches played, Coach Enang’s side has recorded one win, one draw, two loss, 3 goals scored and 4 goals conceded.
This poor stats puts Prisons FC at the 4th spot in Pool A with 4 points in 4 matches as the seat now burns in flames with the heat increasing on Coach Enang.
The South West Regional league has been stopped till further notice just like all sporting activities in Cameroon due to the outbreak and spread of the coronavirus. This has given these coaches time t reflect on their tactics and choices while waiting for the resumption of football in the country which is still to be announced.
