SW Regional League: H.O Academy: President and coach with contrasting objectives this season.

The Hilaire Owona Academy FC from the Littoral region of Cameroon now based in the South West region made their mark after gaining promotion into the South West regional league.

A 4-0 win over Dynamic FC of Buea in the preliminaries of the cup of Cameroon has sent a warning signal to the other contenders of the South West regional football championship.

Despite a brilliant performance from their high standard, the president Hilaire Owona and coach Serge Bokagne have presented different objectives at post match interview.

 

Concerning the objectives of the club from president Hilaire Owona’s view

“My exact objective is the second tier league of Cameroon because the project is to form players and to take them out of the country and i think that if we arrive as a professional football team, we will have much chances”.

“I cannot tell that our objective is to go elite 2, we are just a new comer and we are just there to learn”.

H. O academy have been drawn in pool A of the South West Regional League along side Buea United, Continental FA, Dynamic and legendary Prisons FC of Buea.
