The South West Region has been eager to get an elite 2 team in the past six years but there are some teams who show no signs seriousness as we discover the worst attacking teams so far.
Bau Manibok FC of Kumba.
This is the worst team the South West FECAFOOT has ever enrolled this season as they have scored no goal in the league so far.
In their first game on match day two, there were beaten heavily by Kumba Lakers by 6–0 and on match day 3, they failed to show up against Nkamanyi FI and by implication, they lost the match as they were declared for forfeiture.
So far they have scored no goal, conceded 6goals and tail pool F with zero point in two matches.
It should be noted that they were on stand by on match day 3.
NEMFA FC of Kumba.
Next in line is NEMFA FC who their part have scored only 1goal so far this season and that was in their 3–1 defeat to Treviso FC.
Their lone goal scorer remains John Motoko.
So far they have scored 1 goal, conceded 3 goals with 0point in two matches.
There were on stand by on match day 3.
Njalla Quan Sports Academy (NQSA) of Limbe.
The Limbe base who finished third in last season’s mini inter pools under coach Tete Edwin, the team has been dormant this season as they have scored only two goals in four matches under new coach Manfred Kouoh.
Moutsio Ulrich scored the lone goal in their 1–1 draw on match day 1 against Victoria United while Zambala Mbassi scored the only goal in their 4–1 defeat to Best Stars Academy on match day 3.
Coach Manfred Kouoh‘ s team have so far scored 2goals, conceded 5goals and 2points in 4 matches.
Future Soccer Stars Sports Academy (FUSSA).
Future Soccer Stars Sports Academy is the only team in the list to record one of the worst defense in the league so far as they conceded 16 goals in two matches.
They have so far scored just two goals and conceded 16 goals in two matches as they tail pool C with zero point.
It should be noted that they were on stand by on match day 4.
Mount Cameroon FC of Buea.
Legendary Mount Cameroon FC of Buea who missed out of the mini inter pools last term, many thought this season was their year but things are moving from bad to worse with coach Mutia Jonathan’s team scoring only two goals in four matches with Kang Kelvin being one of their scorer against University of Buea FC which they lost 2-1 on match day two and a 1-1 with Catholic University SA on match day 4.
The “lava boys” have so far scored two goals, conceded 6goals and two points in four matches.
Eteki Esoh Memorial Sports Academy ( EEMSA) of Tiko.
The Tiko base side has so far scored two goals in four matches. Tchaze Tambe Zidane is one of their scorers who scored in their 3-1 defeat to Tiko United on match day 3.
So far they have scored 2goals, conceded 3 goals plus 1pt in four matches.
It should be noted that all the above mentioned teams occupy the last spot in their respective pools.
With the South West Regional championship in a halt due to the outbreak of COVID-19, there is time for the various coaches to get the winning formula so as to avoid relegation.
