Thierry Akono Scores First Azam FC Goal (Video)

24-year-old Cameroon speedster Alain Thierry Akono Akono opened his account for Azam FC in a friendly against KMKM Zanzibar on Wednesday.

The game played at the Azam Complex stadium at 10 am on Wednesday, was to make sure the team keeps shape.

Akono, formerly of Fortuna scored the game’s second goal at the 90 minute, after Ayoub Lyanga, former Coastal Union creative midfielder, had given Azam a 78 minute lead.

Akono’s first goal capitulated all what the player is all about; pace, trickery and an eye for goal.

Speaking to afterwards, the winger wishes to follow the fine performance in subsequent games.

Azam plays Kinondoni Municipal council
Saturday November 21 in match day 11 of the Tanzanian premiership. Akono will be hoping coach Aristică Cioabă
can give him more game time to score more.
