Three Reasons Why Tiko United Lost To EEMSA.

Tiko United aka Samba boys lost to EEMSA in the opening match of the brand new season of the South West Regional championship launch today Sunday 13th December ,2020 at the Tiko Town Green Stadium.

Batche Manfred’s goal was the difference of the day as Tiko United bow to EEMSA in the season’ s opener.

Reasons Why The Samba Boys were defeated.

1. Lack of finishing from the Attackers.

The attackers of Tiko United were not clinical in front of goal as they squandered so many chances which would have sealed all three points for the 2009 champions.

Players like Katche Lucas, Eken Livinus and Haman Mociar squandered so many opportunities and this explains why the head coach was bitter in his post match reactions as he was not pleased with the performance of his players especially his captain,  Katche Lucas.

“i’m not pleased, my captain disappointed me today.  You can not be a captain of the team then not having a fighting spirit.  You have to fight like a leader”, Coach Maurice told the media.

2. Lack of Training.

Lack of Training is also another factor for why Tiko United bowed to rivals EEMSA at the Tiko Town Green Stadium.

The team according to the coach began training just three weeks ago and the fact that not all the players attended training sessions.  According to the coach, only eight players have been consistent in training.

“For my team, lack of Training.  I have the effective of eight players. How can eight players train well?, the coach lamented.

3. Disunity within the club.

Disunity within the club also played to the disadvantage of Tiko United as some players were prevented from attending training sessions.

“Because we have little problems, refusing other players to come and train because of personal interest.  We are not here for interest. We are here to unite the Tiko population”, he added.

The defeat puts Tiko United bottom of group F but coach Mbatchou Maurice says there is still light at the end of the tunnel.

“No matter the defeat,  it’s not bad. The boys played well but lack of Training.  If they come to training,  they will do well”

Tiko United and EEMSA will have to wait on till the end of the African Nations Championship (CHAN) to come to an end before going back to the pitch.

The rest of day one fixtures will come up on December 20, 2020.
