Total CHAN 2020: 🇨🇩Florent Ibenge unveils 33 leopards

Coach Florent Ibenge has summoned 33 players for their last training camp ahead of the CHAN

The head coach of the intermediate Leopards of DR Congo Jean – Florent Ibenge Ikwange, has made Public his list of 33 players retained for the African Nations championship in Cameroon.

According to the Congolese football federation, the 33 players are expected to team up at the Béatrice Hôtel de la Gombe on Thursday January 07 and a trip for a pre_CHAN training camp in Tanzania, is scheduled for Friday January 8, 2020.

Before leaving for Tanzania, the intermediate Leopards will train at the stade des Martyrs on Thursday evening. During their stay in Dar-Es-Salam, they will play the Taïfa Stars of Tanzania in a friendly game.

A breakdown of the players called by Florent Ibenge, indicates that nine players are from AS Vita club, six from TP Mazembe, four from FC SAINT-ELOI LUPOPO, Three from DC Motema Pembe, three from SM Sanga Balende, and one each from FC RENAISSANCE, FC MK, FC BLESSING, JS GROUPE BAZANO and JSK.

Three of the players called, Matampi Vumi, Miche Mika et Ricky and Tulende Sindani, were part of the Leopards’ squad that won the African Nations championship in Rwanda in 2016.

DR Congo is lodged in Group B alongside Lybia, Niger and Congo, and will play their games at the Japoma Stadium in Douala.
