Total CHAN 2020: 🇨🇲 Jacques Zoua dropped, as Ndtoungou Mpile names starting XI to face Mali

Ndtoungou Mpile has made two changes from his previous starting XI

Cameroon’s intermediate lions will take on the eagles of Mali as from 5pm, in the first round two game in group A of the African Nations championship.

Ahead of the game that will be played at the Yaoundé Omnisport Stadium, intermediate lions head coach Martin Ndtoungou Mpile, has made three changes from the starting XI that faced Zimbabwe last Saturday.

Jacques Zoua Daogari will start on the bench

According to our sources, captain Jacques Zoua Daogari has been dropped to the bench, along side Bryan Soga, and Etame François while Colombe’s Man Ykre Dangomo and AS Futuro’s Mfede Junior and Ndedi Junior starts.

Man Ykre was named in the waiting list, but Martin Ndtoungou Mpile has drafted him in, as he finds solutions to the lions according woe.

The rest of the starting XI of the last game remained unchanged.

In the absence of Jacques Zoua, Banga Bindjeme will captain the team. Unconfirmed reports also holds that PWD’s right back Basile Yamkam, has been ruled out of today’s game.

During his pre_match press conference yesterday, Martin Ndtoungou Mpile never ruled out the option of making some few changes.

“It is possible to have the same starting XI, and it is also possible to have some changes. Even if we change, we are not changing the whole team, but I think the group stays solid”, Mpile opined

A win for either sides will hand them a ticket for the quarter finals.
