Ex Torino defender, Nicolas Nkoulou have joined Premier league club Watford on a one year deal.
The former Marseille defender joins the premier league side from Torino as a free agent after failing to get another contract extension with the Serie A club.
The 31 year-old has wide range of experience in the international scene, having made his club debut in September 2008 with French Ligue 1 side, AS Monaco, where he made some 78 appearances in his three years stay at the club.
Nkoulou further went to play for two other great Ligue 1 clubs: Lyon and Marseille before moving to Torino in 2017 on loan, followed by a permanent deal the following year.
Being a free agent, most clubs in Europe were hungry for the player’s services, but he has chosen vicarage road as his next destination.
It should be noted that, the Ex Marseille defender joins Vicarage Road just three days after the club appointed former Leicester City coach, Claudio Renieri on a two year deal.
Nkoulou could make his debut for Watford against Liverpool after the international break.
