Vincent Aboubakar’s Besiktas suffers another defeat as they lost away to Gaziantep FK 3-1 in a match day seven clash of the Turkey super lig.
The home side opened scores at the 44 th minute through Kevin Dicko and held on to their lead at halftime.
Upon returning from the interval, calamity stroke Besiktas as Ersin Destanoglu was shown his matching orders at the 55 th minute as the visitors were reduced to ten men.
But there was some hope for Besiktas as Cyle Larin equalized for the visitors at the 61 st minute to level scores.
However, the home side’s numerical advantage played a vital role as goals from Muhammet Demir and Kenan Ozer at the 63rd and 90th minutes respectively was enough to seal a 3-1 win for the home side.
The defeat leaves Besiktas on the 9th spot on the league table with 10 points in seven matches.
Cameron’s Vincent Aboubakar played the entire game and has now featured in 6 matches, 1goal scored plus one assist.
The former FC Porto forward is also part of Antonio Conceicao’s 24 man list to face Mozambique in the AFCON qualifiers later this month.
