A product of the National Football Academy (ANAFOOT), Khadim Diop, is experiencing a rapid growth aged just 15, which prolly is the reason why Under-17 Lions gaffer Anicet Mbarga Foe has opted to take him to Morocco.
For his age, some of the things the lad conjures on a football turf is unreal; his ability to be cool in the final third, his eye for goal, and his awareness of space makes him a near – complete forward at such a tender age.
Khadim has impressed even at the national level of youth football already
The lad scored in the opening match of the 2020/2021 youth football season in Cameroon that took place on Sunday, December 20, 2020 at the CAF Technical Centre in Mbamkomo.
The fixture pitted the under-15s of the National Football Academy (ANAFOOT) against those of the Vatican AS. Unsurprisingly, ANAFOOT largely took the upper hand over their rivals by three goals to nothing.
The first goal of the season was scored by the young Emmanuel Ekoume after only three minutes of play.
Diop Khadim got on the score sheet at the 28th minute from the penalty spot, for his first of the season, in a game ANAFOOT won 3-0
The lad will definitely be one of the star players to look out for if head coach Anicet Mbarga Foe gives him game time.
