Apejes Football Club Academy graduate Felix Kekoh, 19, talking to Fecafoot TV – has promised victory against hosts Mauritania, in the opener today.
The lad was speaking after the last training session of the boys of Ousmanou Christophe on Saturday.
“We are very motivated,” started the Admira Wacker creative midfielder.
“We have been preparing the competition for about 3 weeks, playing friendly matches along the way. Our group is stable…. We are ready and motivated to face hosts Mauritania.
“We know that many back in the country await this victory from us….I think we will start with the three points,” ended the 19 year old.
Kekoh wasn’t amongst the crop of players who won the UNIFFAC in Equatorial Guinea, but turns out to be a great addition for the squad.
Cameroon Kick-starts at the Stade Olympique at 9 pm today in tournament’s opener.
Felix Kekoh is considered an absolute gem for his Austrian Bundesliga side Admira Wacker, where he has played three games in the Championship and one in the Austrian Cup this season.
