UNIFFAC: 🇨🇲🇨🇩 Milla scores as lions and Leopards share spoils

The U20 lions of Cameroon have played a one all tie with DR Congo, in the first game of the ongoing UNIFFAC tournament in Malabo.

The baby lions of Coach Ousmanou Christophe and the baby Leopards went head to head at the Estadio de Malabo on Tuesday afternoon, in a pool B fixture.

Renaissance of Ngoumou’s forward, Kevin prince Milla gave Ousmanou Christophe’s side the lead 18 minute of the game, a goal which captain Gabriel Penda and his teammates protected till the end of the first segment.

DR Congo’s starting XI vs Cameroon

The Congolese drew the game level at the 73rd minute, when Linda Mtanga fired pass goalkeeper Hecube Junior of Cameroon.

Efforts from both sides to get a late winner failed to materialize.

Cameroon’s next group game will be against Congo Brazzaville.

The five nation zonal tournament serves as qualifiers for the U-20 Africa Cup of nations scheduled for Mauritania next year.
