The indomitable lions of Cameroon and the desert foxes of Algeria will clash in the plays offs of the African World Cup Qualifiers, Qatar 2022.
The desert foxes who had a dissapointing campaign in the ongoing AFCON, which saw the current African champions finished bottom of their group with one point in three matches.
With their premature exit, the two time African champions will be looking forward to wipe away their tears, as they go in search for a fifth world cup participation.
But standing on their way is Cameroon’s indomitable lions who will be looking a record eighth participation in the greatest football show piece.
This fixture has favored the indomitable Lions in the last nine meetings between the two sides, with Cameroon recording six wins, two draws and one defeat.
The last time these two met was during group stage of the 2018 world cup qualifiers, where Cameroon took four points from the desert foxes.
Other interesting fixtures of the play offs sees Nigeria to take on Ghana, Egypt and Senegal exchange soccer punches in a tie considered by many as the toughest.
