The head coach of the national football team of Cameroon, Antonio Conceicao has published a preselected list of 31 lions ahead of the FIFA World Cup Qualifying double header against Mozambique in October.
The list comprises of four goalkeepers, 10 defenders, 7 midfielders and 10 forwards. Notable Absentees are Onana Jean, Clinton Njie and Yan Eteki.
The list looks 98% similar to the preselected list during the September international break, with the lights of Jean Castelletto, Nouhou Tolo and Paul Georges making their return to the call up.
The indomitable lions of Cameroon will be in search of a record eighth world cup participation and having missed out in the 2018 edition, the lions will be looking for nothing short of 6 points in the double header against Mozambique.
Mozambique on their part, are a tricky side, having held Cote d’Ivoire in goalless draw in September, they will also want have a say when Cameroon comes knocking.
The last two meetings between these two sides was during the AFCON qualifiers in November when the lions had an impressive 5-1 aggregate score in a similar double.
Cameroon occupy the second position in their group with 3points, one behind the Elephants of Cote d’Ivoire.
